Description
Electrically and optically it is identical to the square-profile 180-LED model in the range: 180 LEDs per metre, 12 W, 1200 lumens, Ra 70, SDCM ≤ 5, a 200 mm cut, and a 50 m reel. There is no performance decision to make between the two. The only difference is the body — 14 × 7 mm dome here against 13.5 × 6.5 mm square there — and the choice is made on the detail drawing: dome where the strip is exposed to weather on a top face or visible in daylight, square where it sits inside a channel or against a flat return.
Where it does earn its place on performance grounds is the combination of dome profile with dual white at this output. Dual white usually forces a compromise: you get two colour temperatures, but on a body that was not designed to shed weather. Here there is no compromise — a full 1200 lm/m with warm and cool channels, SDCM ≤ 5 so multiple reels read as one colour, in a profile that stays clean. Mounting is by buckle and screw rather than adhesive, which is worth noting since some of the dome models in the range are tape-mounted; if your substrate is smooth and continuous and you want no penetrations, those are the alternative. Rated IP65 for sheltered outdoor use, with CE, CB, and RoHS certification held by the manufacturer.
