Description
Two specifications here are unusual and worth flagging at design stage. The board is 25mm wide, the widest in the range, which must be confirmed against the intended channel or mounting surface. And power draw is 50W per metre at 2.08A — a 5m reel represents roughly 250W, meaning supply sizing, feed point location, and thermal management need to be resolved in the design phase rather than discovered on site. The strip earns energy efficiency class E despite this output, which is better than the F rating of the lower-output 624-LED model, reflecting the efficiency of spreading the load across 1248 chips rather than driving fewer chips harder.
A genuine practical advantage at this density is the cut interval: 4.8mm, by far the finest in the range and roughly a quarter of the 19.2mm pitch on the 624-LED model. That granularity allows near-exact length matching in fitted joinery, display case interiors, and anywhere the run length is dictated by fixed dimensions rather than chosen freely. Installation uses double-sided adhesive tape film. Rated IP20 for indoor dry-location use, with CE, CB, and RoHS certification held by the manufacturer.
