FAQ
Q: How does dual white work on a single COB strip?
A: The board carries two independent LED channels — 300 warm white at 2700K and 300 daylight at 6500K per metre, both running the full strip length. Each channel is powered separately, so the installation selects warm, daylight, or both depending on the control arrangement used.
Q: Is the colour rendering the same on both channels?
A: Yes, both channels are rated Ra 90. Lower-specification dual white product often quotes high CRI on the warm channel only, with the cool channel noticeably worse. Here the specification applies to both.
Q: Why does this strip have 600 LEDs when the single colour 5mm model has 400?
A: Each colour channel needs its own emitters along the full length. Splitting 600 LEDs into 300 warm and 300 cool maintains adequate density on each channel individually.
Q: Does it replace installing two separate strips?
A: Yes. A conventional two-temperature installation requires two strips, two adhesive runs, and two channel positions. This model delivers both from one strip in one channel, which is why it is commonly specified for retrofit work where cabinet space is limited.
Q: What are the light output figures?
A: 400 lm/m at 2700K and 500 lm/m at 6500K. The daylight channel is brighter, which is typical — cooler phosphor conversion is more efficient than warm.
Q: What is the MOQ and lead time?
A: MOQ is 50 sets, lead time 15–21 days. Supplied on 5m reels, 100 reels per carton, shipped from Guangzhou or Shenzhen.
