Description
Against the 12 mm double-row version in the same range, the trade is explicit: 15 mm of board against 12 mm, and 24 W against 22 W, producing 2500 lumens per metre against 2600. In other words, slightly more power and slightly less light — the difference going into thermal headroom rather than output. For installations where the strip sits in an enclosed aluminium channel or runs for many hours a day, that is usually the right trade. Where absolute maximum brightness in open air is the priority, the 12 mm version is the better pick.
Current is 1.0 A per metre at 24 V, comfortably within single-feed range for the run lengths this type of product is normally used at. The cut interval is 50 mm, matching the 12 mm double-row model, so it suits continuous runs rather than short joinery sections. This is one of the models supplied with mounting clips, a 2P connecting cable, and double-sided adhesive tape in the box, which removes a separate purchasing line from the bill of materials. The 15 mm width is the one point to verify before ordering — it will not drop into a channel cut for a 10 mm or 12 mm board. Rated IP20 for indoor dry-location use, with CE, CB, and RoHS certification held by the manufacturer.
