FAQ
Q: How narrow is this COB LED strip light, and what does 3mm actually allow?
A: The strip measures W3 × H1.65 mm. It fits slim aluminium profiles, cabinet grooves, and shallow architectural recesses that cannot accept the 8mm and 10mm strips in the range. Where a channel is already installed, confirm its internal width before ordering — 3mm is the narrowest option available in the D series.
Q: What does SDCM ≤3 mean for a cabinet installation?
A: SDCM measures colour variation between LEDs and between production batches. At ≤3, differences are not visible to the eye under normal viewing. In a kitchen using several separate strip runs, or a showroom with multiple cabinets, all sections appear as the same white. This is the tightest tolerance in the D series; most strips here are ≤5.
Q: Can the colour temperature be changed after installation?
A: No. Colour temperature is fixed at production — select one of 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K, or 6500K when ordering. For switchable warm and cool white, specify a Dual White model from the D series instead.
Q: Why choose CRI 90 over a standard Ra80 strip?
A: CRI 90 renders colour closer to natural light. In display cabinets, retail fixtures, and wine storage, Ra80 visibly flattens the distinction between similar tones — timber grain, fabric, and product colour all read less accurately. For general ambient lighting where colour accuracy is not critical, the Ra80 models are the more economical choice.
Q: How short can the strip be cut?
A: Every 10mm along the marked cut points, the shortest interval among the low-voltage single colour models. This allows close length matching in short cabinet sections without leaving unused strip.
Q: What is the minimum order quantity and lead time?
A: MOQ is 50 sets with a lead time of 15–21 days. The strip is supplied on 5m reels, 100 reels per carton, and ships from Guangzhou or Shenzhen.
