Description
The strip alternates 3000 K and 6500 K emitters along its length and drives them in sequence, so a band of light travels along the run rather than sitting still. Because the effect is built from two white channels rather than coloured ones, the result is a moving warm-to-cool transition — much more restrained than an RGB chase, and appropriate for hotel corridors, bar edges, and retail fixtures where colour would cheapen the scheme. This is a standard chasing strip with the sequence built into the circuit; it is not individually addressable, so individual points or custom patterns cannot be programmed.
Two practical points determine whether this is the right product. First, it requires a controller — unlike the rest of the single-colour and dual-white range, which lights on connection, this one will not run without a matched controller, and the controller is not listed as supplied with the reel, so confirm it as a separate line when ordering. Second, the cut interval is 166.7 mm, by far the longest in the L series, because each cut point must preserve a full repeating sequence — meaning lengths can only be set in roughly 17 cm steps, and this is unsuitable for runs that need precise length matching. Output is 1000 lumens per metre from 126 LEDs at 10 W. Rated IP20 for indoor dry-location use, with CE, CB, and RoHS certification held by the manufacturer.
