Description
Fixed cut intervals are the single most common source of waste and frustration on strip installations. A run needs to be 1.87m but the pitch is 50mm, so it gets cut at 1.85m and leaves a 20mm dark gap at the end — or it gets cut at 1.9m and the excess has to be folded, hidden, or discarded. This model removes the constraint entirely: it is cuttable at every individual LED, giving an effective interval of roughly 8.3mm at 120 LEDs per metre. That is the finest practical adjustment granularity in the L series apart from the 4.8mm cut on the 1248-LED model, and unlike that model it comes at standard density and standard cost.
The trade-off is output and efficiency. At 9W and 950 lumens per metre, this model sits below the 1300 lm/m of the standard 120-LED strip in the series, and carries energy efficiency class F rather than E. The per-LED cuttable circuit design is what accounts for the difference — each LED has its own cuttable pad structure rather than sharing a group cut point. For accent, DIY, and decorative work where precise length matters more than maximum brightness, that is a sound trade. For primary task lighting, the standard model is the better specification.
Running on DC 12V at 0.75A per metre. Installation is tool-free via double-sided adhesive tape film. Note that cutting at every LED means more cut ends to terminate — plan connector and end-cap quantities accordingly on multi-section runs. Six colour temperatures from 2700K through 6500K are specified at order stage. Rated IP20 for indoor dry-location use, with CE, CB, and RoHS certification held by the manufacturer.
