The second difference is installation. Where the rest of the range is fixed with buckles and screws, this strip mounts on double-sided adhesive tape film. On a long continuous substrate — a metal fascia, a smooth parapet, a powder-coated panel — adhesive is dramatically faster than clipping every 300 mm, and it makes no penetrations at all, which matters on cladding where a fixing is a warranty issue. The trade-off is permanence and substrate: adhesive needs a clean, smooth, sound surface and does not forgive a dusty or porous one, and it is far harder to reposition once laid. On rough render, open-joint cladding, or anything that may need to come down for maintenance, choose a clip-fixed model instead.
Output is 900 lumens per metre at 9 W, matching the best of the square-profile models, and cutting is at 100 mm — ten times finer than the one-metre interval on the low-output square models, so lengths can be matched closely to panel joints and corners. One figure needs care: the 900 lm/m value is recorded on the datasheet at 6500 K, and output at the warmer colour temperatures is not stated separately — request measured values per colour temperature if you are doing a lighting calculation.
