Running on DC 12V at 0.4A per metre, a 5m reel draws roughly 24W, making this the model that works with the smallest and least expensive power supplies in the range. It is also the practical choice for enclosed fittings — wardrobe carcasses, display plinths, small cabinets — where heat dissipation is limited and a 20W+ per metre strip would require ventilation planning. The 12V supply does mean shorter practical run lengths than the 24V models before voltage drop becomes noticeable, so plan feed points accordingly on runs beyond a few metres.
Installation is tool-free via double-sided adhesive tape film. The strip cuts every 50mm, the coarsest interval in the range and a direct consequence of the 60 LEDs/M density — worth confirming against fixed joinery dimensions before ordering. Six colour temperatures from 2700K through 6500K are specified at order stage. Rated IP20 for indoor dry-location use, with CE and RoHS certification held by the manufacturer.
