Task lighting fails in one of two ways: the strip is too dim to read by, or it is bright enough but the light reads as a chain of dots rather than a continuous line. Most 120-LED 2835 strips on the market fall into the second category — adequate for a dim cove wash, but visibly pixelated once installed under a kitchen cabinet at eye level. This 336 LEDs/M 2025 SMD strip addresses both: at 1300 lm/m it is roughly 18% brighter than the 288 LEDs/M model in the same series, and the denser chip pitch pushes the dot pattern below the threshold where it becomes visible at normal viewing distance.
The strip runs on DC 12V and draws 13W per metre — higher than the 10W/m of the 288-LED model, so supply capacity should be confirmed against planned run length before specifying (a 5m reel requires roughly 65W). In exchange, the output reaches 1300 lumens per metre, sufficient for genuine worktop task lighting and retail shelf illumination rather than decorative accent alone. Six colour temperatures from 2700K through 6500K are specified at order stage, covering warm residential kitchens through to cool commercial display cases. The board measures W10 × H1.2mm, 2mm wider than the 8mm model in the range; the extra width improves heat dissipation at this power level, but requires confirming the aluminium channel accepts a 10mm board.
Installation is tool-free via double-sided adhesive tape film bonding to aluminium channels, cabinet undersides, and shelf edges. The strip cuts every 17.9mm — finer than the 20.8mm pitch of the 288-LED model — allowing tighter length matching in cabinet runs with fixed end panels. Rated IP20 for indoor dry-location use, with CE, CB, and RoHS certification held by the manufacturer.
