Dual White 2835 LED Strip Light, DC 24V 240 LEDs/M, 3000K & 6500K Options with Self-Adhesive Backing, for Cove & Kitchen Lighting

Dual-white strip has one weakness on 12 V: current. Two separately wired channels on one board at 12 V means roughly 1.0 A per metre, and on a kitchen run that wraps three walls — or a hotel corridor cove — that current is what forces extra feed points and extra cabling. Moving the same construction to 24 V addresses it directly, and this is the model that does so while also raising output.

Overview

Description

Against the 12 V dual-white version in the same range, the improvement is measurable on three figures at once: 240 LEDs against 192, output up from 1350 to 1950 lumens per metre — roughly 44% more — and current down from 1.0 A to 0.67 A. More light from less current is the combination that dual-white strip on 12 V could not deliver, and it changes what the product is suitable for: the 12 V version is a room-level fitting, while this one will carry a continuous cove or a full kitchen run from a single feed. The board moves from 10 mm to 12 mm to accommodate the higher LED count.

The trade is the cut interval, which goes from 31.2 mm on the 12 V version to 50 mm here. On long open runs that costs nothing; on short cabinet sections where lengths are irregular it means more waste, and the 12 V model is the better choice there. Both channels remain fixed at 3000 K and 6500 K and are selected between rather than continuously variable. Connection is via 3P, since the two channels share a common return. The 12 mm board should be confirmed against the intended channel profile. Rated IP20 for indoor dry-location use, with CE, CB, and RoHS certification held by the manufacturer.

Core Features

Core Features

  • 1950 lumens per metre — 44% more than the 12 V dual-white model — up from 1350 lm/m, which is the difference between an ambient fitting and one that will light a working surface.
  • 0.67 A per metre — a third less current than the 12 V version — down from 1.0 A/m, so continuous runs stay even from a single feed where the 12 V model would need intermediate injection.
  • 240 LEDs/M against 192 on the 12 V version — higher density keeps both channels free of visible points when run individually.
  • Two white channels on one board — 3000 K warm and 6500 K cool, wired separately and switched independently or together, replacing two installed runs with one.
  • 3P connection for shared return — the two channels share a common return, so the strip takes a 3-pin connector rather than the 2-pin used on single-colour models.
  • Energy efficiency class E — held at 16 W/m despite the output increase.
  • Self-adhesive backing — double-sided tape film bonds directly to aluminium channels, coves, and mounting surfaces without clips.
  • CE / CB / RoHS certified — manufacturer-held certifications supporting European and international B2B procurement.

Application Scenarios

Application Scenarios

  • Full kitchen runs on three walls — the core use case; low current means one feed covers a continuous run that would need several at 12 V.
  • Hotel corridor and circulation coves — long dual-white runs where warm and cool are switched by time of day, without intermediate feed points.
  • Open-plan living and dining areas — one run serves both the working and the relaxing mode of the same space.
  • Retail shopfloor perimeter lighting — switch the store's character between daytime trading and evening ambience from one installation.
  • Office breakout and meeting areas — cooler light for work sessions, warmer for informal use, selected at the switch.
  • Residential bedroom and dressing room coves — 1950 lm/m is enough for indirect room lighting while keeping the two-temperature flexibility.
