Description
Output is 5300 lumens per metre from 480 LEDs, roughly 71% more than the 3100 lm/m of the 20 mm triple-row model, on twice the board width. Putting the two side by side shows what the extra row buys: the triple-row strip concentrates three rows into 20 mm, while this one spreads four across 40 mm, so each row has roughly double the lateral space and the heat is distributed across a much larger area. That is what makes 48 W per metre sustainable here where it would not be on a narrower board.
Two figures need planning rather than discovery on site. Power is 48 W per metre and current is 2.0 A per metre, so a single 5 m reel draws 240 W and 10 A — this is a strip that requires a properly rated driver, adequate gauge feed cable, and a heat-conducting surface, not adhesive onto a shelf. The cut interval is 50 mm, and each cut removes four rows' worth of LEDs rather than one, so offcuts are more costly than on a narrow strip. Mounting clips, a 2P connecting cable, and double-sided tape are supplied. The 40 mm width is the constraint that dictates everything else: verify the mounting surface can take it before specifying. Rated IP20 for indoor dry-location use, with CE, CB, and RoHS certification held by the manufacturer.
