Quad Row High Density 2835 LED Strip Light, DC 24V 480 LEDs/M 5300 Lumens per Meter, Warm to Cool White Options for Task Lighting

Some applications need light from a surface rather than a line. A wide backlit ceiling panel, a large light box, or a task bench lit from above all need output spread across an area — and the usual workaround, laying several narrow strips side by side, brings its own problems: visible seams between runs, multiple solder joints, and more wiring than the job should need. A single 40 mm board carrying four rows of LEDs replaces that array with one continuous piece.

Overview

Description

Output is 5300 lumens per metre from 480 LEDs, roughly 71% more than the 3100 lm/m of the 20 mm triple-row model, on twice the board width. Putting the two side by side shows what the extra row buys: the triple-row strip concentrates three rows into 20 mm, while this one spreads four across 40 mm, so each row has roughly double the lateral space and the heat is distributed across a much larger area. That is what makes 48 W per metre sustainable here where it would not be on a narrower board.

Two figures need planning rather than discovery on site. Power is 48 W per metre and current is 2.0 A per metre, so a single 5 m reel draws 240 W and 10 A — this is a strip that requires a properly rated driver, adequate gauge feed cable, and a heat-conducting surface, not adhesive onto a shelf. The cut interval is 50 mm, and each cut removes four rows' worth of LEDs rather than one, so offcuts are more costly than on a narrow strip. Mounting clips, a 2P connecting cable, and double-sided tape are supplied. The 40 mm width is the constraint that dictates everything else: verify the mounting surface can take it before specifying. Rated IP20 for indoor dry-location use, with CE, CB, and RoHS certification held by the manufacturer.

Core Features

Core Features

  • 5300 lumens per metre from 480 LEDs — roughly 71% more output than the 3100 lm/m 20 mm triple-row model, from a single continuous board.
  • Four rows across a 40 mm board — replaces several side-by-side narrow strips with one piece, eliminating the seams, extra joints, and additional wiring that parallel runs require.
  • Heat spread over double the width of the triple-row model — four rows across 40 mm rather than three across 20 mm, which is what makes 48 W/m usable rather than marginal.
  • Uniform area coverage — lit surface rather than lit line, suited to panels and boxes where a narrow strip would leave banding.
  • Energy efficiency class E — held despite the high output, ahead of the class F rating on the 20 mm and 15 mm models.
  • Six colour temperature options at order — 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K, 6500K selected when ordering; the strip is manufactured to a fixed colour temperature and is not field-switchable.
  • Accessories included — supplied with strip mounting clips, 2P connecting cable, and double-sided adhesive tape.
  • CE / CB / RoHS certified — manufacturer-held certifications supporting European and international B2B procurement.

Application Scenarios

Application Scenarios

  • Large backlit ceiling panels — the core use case; one 40 mm board lights an area that would otherwise need three or four parallel narrow runs.
  • Wide-format light boxes and signage — even fill across large faces without the seam lines that show when narrow strips are butted together.
  • Industrial and workshop task lighting — 5300 lm/m gives bench-level illuminance from a ceiling-mounted luminaire.
  • Studio and photographic lighting — broad, even source reduces the multiple-shadow problem created by point or narrow-line sources.
  • Supermarket and warehouse aisle lighting — high output over long continuous runs where a single wide source simplifies installation.
  • Architectural feature walls — continuous lit surface at large scale for lobbies and public interiors.
