Description
Output is 5800 lumens per metre from 600 LEDs, the second highest in the range behind the 6000 lm/m 25 mm model, and the highest of any 40 mm board. Against the 480-LED quad-row version on the same 40 mm width, it delivers 500 extra lumens — roughly 9% more light — from 120 more LEDs at identical power and current. That is the interesting part of the comparison: the same 48 W and the same 2.0 A, converted into more light rather than more heat, purely through LED count and binning.
The cut interval is where this model improves most on its sibling. At 20 mm against the 50 mm of the 480-LED version, it can be trimmed in steps two and a half times finer, which on a 40 mm board — where every cut discards four rows of LEDs — is a material saving on expensive product. The demands are unchanged and should be planned for: 48 W and 2.0 A per metre, so a full 5 m reel draws 240 W at 10 A, requiring a correctly rated driver, adequate cable gauge, and a heat-conducting mounting surface. Mounting clips, a 2P connecting cable, and double-sided tape are supplied. The 40 mm width is the constraint to verify first. Rated IP20 for indoor dry-location use, with CE, CB, and RoHS certification held by the manufacturer.
