Ultra Bright Quad Row 2835 LED Strip Light, DC 24V 600 LEDs/M 5800 Lumens per Meter, Warm White to Daylight Options for High Output Lighting

At the top of a product range, the question stops being "is it bright enough" and becomes "what does the extra brightness cost you". Every step up in output brings more power, more heat, and more current — and unless the specification is honest about those costs, the strip that looked best on a datasheet is the one that fails in an enclosed channel eighteen months later. This is the highest-output model in the L series bar one, and it is worth setting out exactly what it delivers and what it demands.

Overview

Description

Output is 5800 lumens per metre from 600 LEDs, the second highest in the range behind the 6000 lm/m 25 mm model, and the highest of any 40 mm board. Against the 480-LED quad-row version on the same 40 mm width, it delivers 500 extra lumens — roughly 9% more light — from 120 more LEDs at identical power and current. That is the interesting part of the comparison: the same 48 W and the same 2.0 A, converted into more light rather than more heat, purely through LED count and binning.

The cut interval is where this model improves most on its sibling. At 20 mm against the 50 mm of the 480-LED version, it can be trimmed in steps two and a half times finer, which on a 40 mm board — where every cut discards four rows of LEDs — is a material saving on expensive product. The demands are unchanged and should be planned for: 48 W and 2.0 A per metre, so a full 5 m reel draws 240 W at 10 A, requiring a correctly rated driver, adequate cable gauge, and a heat-conducting mounting surface. Mounting clips, a 2P connecting cable, and double-sided tape are supplied. The 40 mm width is the constraint to verify first. Rated IP20 for indoor dry-location use, with CE, CB, and RoHS certification held by the manufacturer.

Core Features

Core Features

  • 5800 lumens per metre — second highest in the L series — ahead of every other 40 mm board, and behind only the 6000 lm/m 25 mm model in the range.
  • 9% more light than the 480-LED version at identical power — 5800 lm/m against 5300 lm/m from the same 48 W and 2.0 A, gained through LED count rather than extra energy.
  • 600 LEDs/M across four rows — the densest four-row construction in the range, giving continuous coverage with no visible pitch between emitters.
  • 20 mm cut interval — 2.5× finer than the 480-LED version — on a 40 mm board each cut discards four rows of LEDs, so the finer pitch directly reduces waste on expensive product.
  • 40 mm emitting width — replaces several parallel narrow strips with one board, removing seams and extra wiring.
  • Energy efficiency class E — maintained at maximum output.
  • Accessories included — supplied with strip mounting clips, 2P connecting cable, and double-sided adhesive tape.
  • CE / CB / RoHS certified — manufacturer-held certifications supporting European and international B2B procurement.

Application Scenarios

Application Scenarios

  • High-output architectural and commercial lighting — the core use case where maximum illuminance from a single run is the requirement.
  • Large-format backlit ceilings and light walls — 5800 lm/m across a 40 mm board covers area that would otherwise need multiple parallel runs.
  • Industrial inspection and workshop bench lighting — output high enough for detailed task work from a ceiling-mounted source.
  • Studio, film, and photographic lighting — broad even source at high output, reducing the multiple shadows produced by point sources.
  • Supermarket and large retail feature lighting — sustained high output over long continuous runs.
  • Exhibition and event feature builds — maximum output per run where rigging space and feed points are limited.
