Being a 24V model, it also brings the run-length advantage that matters in these rooms: bedroom coves and study shelving often run the full length of a wall, and at 0.58A per metre the voltage drop across that length is far less than a 12V equivalent would show. The 10mm board is 2mm wider than the 8mm models, which improves heat dissipation at the 14W/m draw; confirm the intended channel accepts a 10mm profile before ordering.
The cut interval is 38.5mm, coarser than the 17.9mm of the 168-LED 12V model in the series, so allow more tolerance when matching runs to fixed joinery dimensions. Installation is tool-free via double-sided adhesive tape film. Six colour temperatures from 2700K through 6500K are specified at order stage — worth noting for bedroom work, where 2700K and 3000K are the usual selections and the warmer options support evening use. Rated IP20 for indoor dry-location use, with CE, CB, and RoHS certification held by the manufacturer.
